I have built a reputation based on always working to an exacting level of detail, whether you have a drop bar bike, mountain bike or hybrid. Getting the best out of your steed is my mission! At present I have a small number of service slots available each month and am focused of Premium Level work - which ultimately means your pride and joy will receive the attention it deserves. The whole bike will be properly looked over, and come back to you fully test ridden and ready for more adventures. Central to my philosophy is in giving customers honest advice and straight forward pricing.
Drop Bar
Whether you have a road bike, gravel bike or time trial bike, the devil really is in the detail. I have a background in road bike servicing, and understand the subtle elements of a bike service that add to smiles to your pedalling miles.
Mountain Bike
I am a mountain biker at heart and understand not only the importance of the bike working well mechanically, but also how important set up is regarding suspension and tyre pressures. It's a complete package of work that will get the best out of your off road companion.
Premium Level
- I collect the bike and we can have a chat about your riding and what work you want doing.
- I provide you will a detailed quote highlighting necessary work, and also any advisories. A bit like a MOT. I then wait for you to confirm what work you want doing.
- The bike is then serviced. Our current lead times will be confirmed when we collect the bike.
- The bike undergoes three rounds of test riding to bed everything in, and to make sure is working as it should.
- I return the bike to you, and can discuss any set up questions you may have, including the suspension if it's a moutain bike.
- Go pedal!
- My labour rate starts from £135, and parts are charged in addition to this. Your quote will break it all down.
- At present I am not offering more general repairs, basic servicing or work on electric bike motor systems.
